Founder
Meghann Bjarnesen Minton is the co-founder of Besté Travel Design and a Detroit-based luxury and expedition travel expert, and writer. She helps clients design legacy-worthy trips that blend adventure, cultural immersion, and elevated comfort.
For Meghann, travel is more than leisure—it is an essential part of your legacy. She specializes in crafting journeys that become lifelong stories, whether through milestone celebrations, heritage explorations, or bucket-list expeditions.
Her passion for exploration is rooted in her family history: she is related to polar explorer Bjarne Bjarnesen and David Legge Brainard, one of the last survivors of the Lady Franklin Bay Expedition. This lineage fuels her dedication to curating expeditions that connect travelers to both the world and themselves.
She is equally passionate about collaboration, working with small businesses and communities to design programs that connect travelers in meaningful ways.
With a background as a Fortune 5 executive turned entrepreneur, Meghann brings both strategic insight and creative storytelling to her work. Beyond her advisory role, she writes and creates lifestyle content that celebrates travel, reinvention, and the art of living well.

Kim Esté Campbell is the co-founder of Besté Travel Design and a luxury travel designer, previously recognized as Tastemaker of the Year by the New Orleans Times-Picayune. With an innate talent for uncovering the world’s best hotels, villas, and yacht charters, Kim specializes in creating seamless journeys that are as refined as they are memorable.
Her love for hospitality began early—her family owned a motel, giving her a firsthand understanding of what transforms a stay into an experience. Today, she brings that foundation together with her cultivated sense of style to design trips that balance indulgence, authenticity, and ease.
Kim’s specialty lies in curating experiences where accommodations are the highlight, not just the backdrop. Whether it’s a private villa on the Mediterranean, a chic boutique property in Europe, or a yacht sailing through the Caribbean, she pairs her insider knowledge with her instinct for what makes clients feel both cared for and inspired.
